I committed to attending 3 classes per week... I got a DVD for (business) travel days, but what I really enjoyed was finding a Bar Method studio at my destination. I am not fond of business travel, and those out-of-town classes became a treat I looked forward to.
My weight has definitely redistributed, I've slimmed down most areas, and clothes fit me better, including a pair of jeans I hadn't worn for two years.
I think I found my fitness routine! The Bar Method works for me, and I can see myself sticking to it. The schedule, the encouragement, the exercises, the teachers are all part of what makes me able to commit and find enjoyment in it. I feel great and, as a bonus, my boyfriend is really proud of me. He comments on my progress, tells others about it and has been motivated to return to his own workout routine.
