Amy's Story:
I have proved to myself that I can attend class and do strength work at least three times every week. In so doing, I have noted that consistency is one key to change.
I have also overcome doubts I had about being able to become physically stronger and regain the posture I once possessed as I child growing up taking ballet and modern dance.
While it has always been natural for me to exercise a lot -- primarily running -- I have resisted strength and posture training since my youth. I have seen through this experience that I can be stronger and leaner and stand taller at any age, and even after twins.
I believe the best and most long lasting lifestyle changes I have made tend to be gradual and incremental. I am appreciative, too, for the opportunity to work with wonderful teachers and class participants who encourage one another to "be fabulous and powerful beyond measure". |
